The Bible
WE BELIEVE in the absolute inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, both
Old and New Testaments, given by the Holy Spirit without error, as He
moved upon men of old. They are the complete revelation of His will for
the  the salvation of human beings, and the final authority for all
matters about which it speaks. We believe that God still does
everything today that He did in Scripture. Furthermore, we believe that
the church has no authority to establish doctrine or practice contrary
to those same scriptures, which were subsequently accepted as canon
by the early  Christian Church. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21
God Almighty
WE BELIEVE in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, infinitely
perfect, holy, and eternally co-existing in three persons—Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit—who are omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. II
Corinthians 13:14; I John 5:7
God the Father
WE BELIEVE in God the Father, who is an infinite, personal Spirit,
perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He mercifully
concerns Himself in the affairs of mankind; that He hears and answers
prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him
through Jesus Christ. John 6:27; I Corinthians 8:6; 15:24; II Peter
1:17
God the Son, Jesus Christ
WE BELIEVE that our Lord Jesus Christ was begotten, not created,
very God, truly Man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life,
died a vicarious and atoning death for the sins of the world,
resurrected bodily for our justification, and now reigns in glory until all
things be put under His feet. I Corinthians 15:20–28; I Timothy 3:16;
I Peter 1:18-21
God the Holy Spirit
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, conforming
them to the image of Jesus Christ and that He endows them with
power so that they can fulfill their purpose while on earth. John 15:26,
16:13; Romans 8:9, 14, 16, 26-29
WE BELIEVE that man was made in the image of God and is the crown
of creation. He is now, by reason of the fall, spiritually depraved and
alienated from his Creator. Apart from God’s grace he has no ability to
attain this high calling. Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23-24
Salvation by Faith through Grace
WE BELIEVE that justification is by grace through faith in our Lord’s
sacrifice on Calvary. Furthermore, WE BELIEVE in the total depravity of
all mankind as a result of the fall and the necessity of salvation through
regeneration. Romans 4:25-5:1;12-18
Water Baptism
WE BELIEVE that every believer should be identified with Christ’s
death, burial, and resurrection through water baptism. Matthew 3:13-
17; Mark 16:16
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
WE BELIEVE that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is an endowment
of power subsequent to conversion, given by God to anoint the
believer for Christian living and evangelism. Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4;
Galatians 3:14, 5:22-24
The Gifts of the Spirit
WE BELIEVE in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in
acknowledge, encourage, and seek all gifts and ministries of the Holy
Spirit. These gifts are available to all who believe and they are to be
operated decently and in order. I Corinthians 12:7-11, 14:40
Healing
WE BELIEVE in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine
Healing in its varied aspects practiced in the Early Church. Acts 4:30;
Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:1
The Lord's Supper
WE BELIEVE and acknowledge the ordinance of the Lord's Supper in
remembrance of Jesus and His crucifixion for the atonement for our
sins. He was the Passover Lamb and fulfilled the Feast of Passover. We
believe the Lord's Supper is a holy ordinance and that it testifies of our
union with Him and of the remission of our sins through His sacrifice
on the Cross. Partaking of the Lord's Supper in a corporate or church
setting also testifies of our relationship with each other as the Body of
Christ. I Corinthians 11:28-32
The Local Church
WE BELIEVE that the New testament Church should be structured
under the leadership of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors,
teachers, elders and deacons as God placed then in the local assembly
and the universal church. Ephesians 4:11-14; I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus
1:5
Holiness
WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world
and perfection of holiness in the fear of God and the fulfillment of the
individual believer’s destiny and prosperity as an expression of
Christian faith. Ephesians 5:18; II Corinthians 6:14, 7:1; Jeremiah 29:
11; Romans 8:28-31; 3 John 2
Marriage
WE BELIEVE the Scriptures teach that marriage is the covenanting
together of one man and one woman in a union to the exclusion of all
others. This union is established by an authorized ceremony under
humankind. The relationship of husband and wife, as family, reflects
the covenanting self-giving love between Christ and His Bride, the
Church. The pledge of mutual faithfulness is not tentative or
conditional. The permanent nature of the marriage bond gives security
and promotes the development of a trusting relationship. The Church
has a responsibility to care for, nurture and prayerfully support the
marriage relationship and the children of the union. Genesis 1:27;
Genesis 2:18; Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 7:4-5; Ephesians 5:25
The Second Coming and Eternal Life
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ will return visibly and in power to the
earth and will present unto Himself a victorious and glorious church.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the
everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment
of the lost, the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels. Matthew
25:41; John 3:17-18; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation
The Great Commission
WE BELIEVE Jesus issued Christians a “Great Commission”: to spread
the Good News of His salvation to all peoples and every nation. To fulfill
this commission, Christians must not only proclaim the love of God,
but demonstrate it through deeds of compassion such as feeding the
poor and hungry, providing for orphans and the homeless and
assisting the sick and distressed as God directs. James 1:27
